Soccer or Football

The boys have started their soccer lessons this week. Thomas used to do football and actually Jasper normally joined him in the lesson as there was no keeping him away from the ball. We have noticed Jasper has really strong legs and can place his foot really well. There is a nice place around the corner for kids soccer lessons. Everything here with regards to kids is so much more expensive than in England, these lessons are 4 times more , so  a while to make the decision to sign them both up. I am not sure whether its the rent, the ratio kids to adults or the profit margins that are responsible for this. I do know they really enjoyed it this week to be part of a class again and they listened remarkably well. Jasper even had to go to the class with the nanny as I was at work. He was very proud and told me all about it later.

It is amazing to notice how encouraging the American culture is towards their children. They remember each child's name and as Thomas was new he got lots of prays and attention specially for him. They applaud every child and reward them with ' great job' and stickers. They really set their children up for becoming very confident adults.

The video show Thomas' first ever go at playing a match against another team. Needless to say the ball didn't always go in the right goal!
