Back!

Thomas was very excited to go back to England for Easter. We were so happy about that. Questioning him as to who he was looking forward to seeing again (Oma Opa, Grandma or Charlie?) it was actually the Batcave that excited him the most. This was his christmas present which was too big to bring on the plane so he hadn't seen it in 3 months. They both adjusted really well to being back in England (after the jetlag) as the surroundings are so familiar.

Now we are back in the Upper West Side after 3 weeks in glorious weather in the Netherland and England.  Unfortunately the weather here is not so great. Its like a tropical storm for the whole week. The boys don't mind as they actually like wearing their rain gear and jumping in muddy puddles (I blame Peppa Pig).

Jetlag

They have started their new preschool. Its so new there are only a few children at the moment which is great. What is also  great is the male teacher. Kids generally are exposed to women more than men when they are young. I suppose it's the naturing character of the women that does that. Boys love to see men and learn from them , well especially mine so the teacher is a great bonus. They learn cooking, Spanish, days of the week, counting and all sort of things. Jasper has already learned a lot in the last few days as they don't listen to crying. I have noticed he is using his words more to express himself. The only downside is the governments requirement to have every child on a mat sleeping or having quiet time for 45 min minimum each school day. For Thomas that is something new and when he does sleep that is not great in the evening. There are so many strange laws here in America!
